Condensation is the name given to the physical phenomenon of change of state of matter which passes from a gaseous state to a condensed state (solid or liquid). In nature, the condensation of water vapor is naturally present in the air and is an important stage in the water cycle, causing in particular dew, clouds and rain, snow, frost or some form of ice (freezing fog, which is a form of solid condensation).

In the building sector, the traditional solution to fight against condensation is the insulation of the roof so that the temperature does not reach the threshold for creating drops .

There is a less expensive process than sandwich panels for sheet metal roofs: the self-adhesive non-woven condensation regulating felt applied to the sheets intended for the roof. The function of this felt will be to retain the drops until the temperature again transforms the water into steam.

How to apply: The self-adhesive felt must be applied to the sheet before profiling A device is necessary between the unwinder and the profiling line

SITUATION 1: efficient ventilation in a well insulated building with side air intake and outward extraction from the ridge.

     SITUATION 2: ventilation is inefficient in this non insulated building. Air intake on the side but not exited from the ridge.

Result: drops fall from the ceiling

SITUATION 4: ventilation is not efficient in this non insulated building. Air intake on the side but not exited on the ridge.
